Inviting flint and mineral aromas, with fresh lemon blossom and grapefruit nuances. A delicate composition of lemongrass and lightly roasted macadamia nut.
A light gold hue allures to aromas of lemon rind, grapefruit and delicately toasted macadamia. Crisp, white pear with perfumed notes of citrus blossom and subtle, cinnamon spice linger on the palate with an intricate, velvety texture.
Free-run juice from gentle whole cluster pressing was used for this wine. Eleven months of maturation occurred in the primary fermentation vessels; : 29% first fill and 37% second fill 300 litre French oak barrels, the remainder in French oak foundres.
The grapes were hand-picked towards the endof February 2020 with an average yield of 7.5 tons per hectare.
